Day 30 — Your reflection in the mirror
Most days I like the way I look. I lucked out and got my beautiful mother's wonderful skin/complexion. So I don't need to wear foundation or any of that stuff. When I want to feel extra dressed up, I'll wear blush and eyeshadow, but I get by with eyeliner and mascara. Most girls hate when I tell them that, but it's my life. It's not my fault I was blessed with such lovely skin ;).
People often ask me why I don't wear contacts, and I reply that I am kind of lazy. And I've been wearing glasses since I was 10, so I'm used to them and I like how I look with them on. Oh, and I have a permanent glasses tan that everyone loves to point out every summer. And, let's see...I have nice, thick hair that I can straighten or curl and it'll stay that way even if I sleep on it. I don't know, I seemed to have lucked out on some really good genes.
Usually I'm pretty happy with how I look, face-wise. My body is hit or miss. But I've been working out and watching extensively what I'm eating, and I've lost some weight! I'm hoping to lose enough weight so that I'll have to buy pants in a size or two lower, and I'm really working on it.
Overall, I am pretty content with my appearance. I have ups and downs like everyone, but since I've started working out, they are less out of control, I guess. I hope to one day love how I look every single day.

I think you are a beautiful girl Rachel! And I'm so glad you're comfortable with yourself!
My roommate is anorexic and it drives me nuts that she is so obsessed with her body when she is pretty and thin.
I miss you girl.
