'Baby snackish', you might say

One of my friends from college told me about the term 'baby snackish'.  It just means that you are not 'baby hungry' (as in, want a child at the moment, every moment), you are just a tad bit snackish.  This is how I feel.  Babies and kids are cute and I'd like to have some . . . and then the feeling goes away.  In L.A., this is how I felt around my adorable baby cousins.  They are cute until they are unhappy or tired and then I'm over it.

Don't worry, we are still planning on waiting a good amount of time before we become parents.  But Zak's mom posted this link on Facebook, and we had fun playing around with.  Then we spent a few hours looking up and debating possible baby names for our future children.  One of my rules is that the girl names have to be a girl name and sound pretty & feminine, none of the nicknames of Pat, Chris, Sam.  I don't want 'unisex' names, either, like Jordan, Madison, none of that.  I guess I get it from my mom, she was the same way when she & my dad were thinking about names.

I have already decided on what I want my first daughter's name to be: Evelyn Gloria.  Or Gloria Evelyn.  Either way, I think that is a good combination.  And ever since my grandma Gloria Nulph passed away when I was in 8th grade, I have wanted to name my first girl after her.  I'm still undecided on the flow of the name, because I can see having calling my future daughter Evie, or Eva.  But I wanted to have grandma's name in there to honor her.

Anyways, Zak and I looked through lists and came up with some names we might consider for our children...

Boys
Liam
Connor
Owen
Max
Jack
Caspar

Girls
Evelyn
Imogen (Zak likes this one a lot)
Alice
Margaux / Margot (I think the French spelling is cool, and I hate the 't' on the other way, but I don't know how that'd go over..)

There are a lot of names I wouldn't even consider.  In fact, I am adamant that we won't name our son 'Dallin'.  I just do not like that name (every Mormon guy has that name).  I also don't like the name 'Corrine', or anything similar to that.  I don't like names that have nicknames I don't like (hate 'Nicky' for Nicole, although I think that name's pretty).

I just want to be a bit prepared, since I am apparently pretty picky about my future childrens' names.
