Day 16 — Someone that’s not in your state/country
Well, pretty much everyone I care about is not in my current state of Idaho. My family lives in CA, mostly and Zak has family across the country, but his immediate family lives in CT. My best friends are scattered among CA, ID & UT. And the only person that's out of the country is my brother Kenny (see previous post and maybe a few others). It's weird to be so far away from my family, because I grew up with my dad's extended family always around. I grew up knowing and playing with my cousins. And now it's just very strange to me now, to not have anyone except Zak around. Not that I don't love being with Zak, it's just a huge difference to go from 20+ people to just me & him. But we are enjoying it, it's nice to be newly married and enjoying our new life together, but sometimes I miss having my family close by that I could see them now and then. Blah.
